Presenting the 4th Annual New York Champagne Week, the premier, bubbly-laden, multi-day fête. A perfect fit for the festive holiday season, this week-long Champagne soirée is the only festival that is gratis for both members of the media and trade.
The official 4th Annual Champagne Week calendar of events will be posted on October 3, 2016. But until then, we promise both the drinks industry and public will relish a slew of effervescent tastings and educational sessions. In addition to the wildly popular Champagne Cocktail Competition and Bubbles & Burgers, this year will be bigger and better than ever, with playful and enlightening seminars such as ‘Let’s Get Fizzacle’ & ‘Back that Glass Up’. Creative food-pairing events like ‘Tarte Flambe and Fizz’ and ‘Caviar & Champagne’ will also capture the versatility of bubbles.
Good news for the Champagne-loving public: this time around they can partake in a number of classes and seminars, too, as well as snag a “Champagne Passport.” This promotion, running the duration of the event, allows imbibers to hop across the city—and rack up stamps while doing so— indulging in bubbles and complementary small plate offerings at New York’s best Champagne-friendly restaurants.
Founded by wine and spirits special events planner and owner of CitySip.com, Blaine Ashley, the original New York Champagne Week celebrates the approachability and diversity of real Champagne through a variety of accessible experiences.
